Ollinmäki Winery is located in the beautiful South Savo countryside in Anttola. The estate has a long tradition of horticulture and farming dating back to the 1920s.
Drawing on decades of experience and expertise in cultivating berries and fruits, we began developing our own fruit and berry wine production in the 1990s. To strengthen our professional know-how, we sought inspiration and knowledge from Central Europe, where berry winemaking has a long and respected tradition. Today, the estate owners Sirpa and Jukka Villanen, together with their daughters, continue this tradition by transforming the harvest into estate wines, liqueurs, and spirits. Our product range now includes a variety of wines, liqueurs, and distilled beverages, and continues to expand through ongoing product development.
Years of dedicated work have been rewarded in competitions organized by the Finnish Wine Entrepreneurs Association, where our estate wines have achieved considerable success.
The romantic names of our wines have been inspired by Kanteletar, a classic collection of Finnish folk poetry. Puntun Paavo, Myllärin Matti, Hentun Liisa, and many other delightful products await lovers of fine wine and local flavours. Our most popular product, the Ruhtinatar sparkling wine, is made from red currants. The sparkling wine was named after Princess Natalia Demidov, the noble lady of Anttola Manor.
The estate’s old castle-like dairy barn has been renovated into a winery, and a completely new 100-seat restaurant has been built alongside it. Here we host wine tastings, dinners, and celebrations for both joyful occasions and moments of remembrance. Our menu features local delicacies sourced from nearby producers and served according to your wishes. Alongside your meal, you can enjoy our 100% Finnish estate beverages bearing the D.O. Saimaa quality label. Visitors are also welcome to learn more about our winery and purchase products to take home.
In addition to wine production and restaurant services, we expanded our business in the 2000s to include holiday accommodation. Three high-quality holiday cottages were built amidst the stunning lake scenery of Saimaa. Affordable bed-and-breakfast accommodation is also available in the traditional granary buildings on the estate. Furthermore, through a network of local partners providing activities and experiences, we are able to create a wide variety of memorable holiday experiences for our guests.
A holiday with us is a delightful experience that stimulates both the mind and the senses. Here you can combine the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional Finnish lakeside cottage holiday with European wine culture, high-quality local food, soothing sauna experiences, and refreshing swims in the pristine waters of Lake Saimaa.
